Outdoor recreation involves risk. Wet and rooty rainforest tracks, Grade 3–4 walks, short winter daylight, ticks, falling bunya cones in season, isolation and unreliable mobile reception are real here. The Great Bunya Drive climb is part of the day. You are responsible for your fitness, water, navigation, weather decisions and compliance with park rules.
